It's quiet in a bowling alley because you can hear a pin drop.

Today a student wrote:

“God gave us mouths that close, and ears that don’t -that should tell us something”

Reading that statement coupled with listening to “The Practice of the Presence of God” by Brother Lawrence during my bike ride has inspired me to observe an element of silence and brevity today, even of the internet nature.

So please forgive my reticence, everyone (or be thankful for it!). However, I encourage you to do the same sometime this week. You may be amazed at what God shows you when you take the time to be still.
